My name is Zahabia. I grew up in a society where modelling career hasn’t been openly welcomed or should I say it’s a taboo. Although, I grew up among photographers, models and makeup artists due to my family owned several salons across the country. Nonetheless, my desire to become a fashion model has always been in me but I never pursue this dream due to the thought that to become a model, you need to have a very petite figure or size zero.
When I signed up with Belle Models, my desire to become plus size model and to motivate thousands of woman, who may or may not belong from the same ethnic backgrounds became stronger. As I’ve always believed that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
